When you need it
On day one, before anyone but you can reach this computer or the panel.
Step by step

Under the panel login, set a username and password and click Create the owner account and turn the login on.

Under Recovery code, view the code and write it down somewhere safe, off this computer.

Under Backups, make one with Back up now and check that automatic backups are on.
- 4
Put the Meta data-deletion rules addresses in your Meta app settings; Active protections shows what is protecting the data now.
Common mistakes
- Without the recovery code there's no way back if you forget the password.
